The winter is a harsh time for our hair and skin, but we have five tips that will help you survive the winter months.
1. Coconut Oil Body Scrub – This simple recipe can sit in your bathroom and help with rough, dry skin. If it hardens just place the jar in the shower with you before use to melt it down!
2. Lip Balm – Rub coconut oil on your dry, chapped lips to help them gain moisture.
3. Hair Treatments – Try one of our coconut oil hair treatments, Coconut Oil Hair Mask and Healthy Homemade Hair Treatment to help hair gain moisture that is lost in the cold.
4. Cuticle treatment – Try rubbing coconut oil on and around your cuticles to help prevent hangnails and dry skin.
5. All Over Moisturizer – Rub coconut oil in like you would a normal lotion, but make sure it dries before you put your clothing on. An alternative to using it as a lotion is to put a tablespoon in the water while you take a bathtub for an easy all over moisture.

Love my coconut oil. It was a must have beside the pool all summer. For hair, nails and body! My daughter has very dry skin…this is the BEST solution. FROM NATURE! I also use it on my hair weekly…funny as my greys seems to be disappearing!

Coconut is the answer. It’s got so many great uses. It’s great for rubbing in your body to help your skin moisturise. just a great moisturiser in general.
