French toast has always been a breakfast favorite of mine. I remember growing up and always making this delicious breakfast at my grandmothers house on the weekends. With July 4th right around the corner, I’m already planning ahead for what sweet treats I’ll be making for this holiday. On July 4, 1776 the Declaration of Independence was approved by the Continental Congress, which set the 13 colonies on their way to freedom as a sovereign nation. By celebrating this National Holiday, many take this day to spend with family, relax, watch fireworks, and have outside barbecues.
