Benefits of a High Fat Diet and Alzheimer’s

Reasearch is constantly being done on Alzheimer’s disease, what causes it and how/if we can cure it. This is something that touches close to my family so I’m always intrigued by new information that is found. The Cholesterol and Alzheimer’s Connection

Alzheimer’s affects nearly five million people each year, according to the Alzheimer’s Association. In the past month, researchers have covered several new findings about how the body responds and may even prevent the disease from happening. Just this week, a study published in the JAMA Neurology found a connection between high LDL and low HDL cholesterol levels and the presence of Alzheimer’s or dementia.
