Kelapo Visits Le Cordon Bleu Los Angeles

We had such a great time speaking with the students at the Le Cordon Bleu in Pasadena! Special thanks to the amazing Chef Coker and his team. Check out this delicious salad I ordered at Technique, the restaurant on campus. I strongly recommend that you visit this student-run restaurant if you get the chance! 3 courses for just $15. Chef Jessica’s Vegan Chocolate Fondue

When it comes to a favorite food I think the majority of women would agree with me when I say- it would have to be chocolate!  A 2007 BBC news article quotes Dr. David Lewis of the Mind Lab as saying “Chocolate beats kissing hands down when it comes to providing a long-lasting body and brain buzz” (http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/health/6558775.stm). Leafy Greens Cafe in St Pete

This weekend I deviated from my usual healthy eating and gave in to chicken verde tacos from the Taco Bus and wood fired cheese pizza.  By Sunday, all I wanted was something green and healthy!  Tucked away on the west side of Central Ave in St. Petersburg is a Raw, Vegan restaurant called Leafy Greens.
