Rich’s Homemade Granola

Rich's Homemade Granola

We love guest blog posts, especially from Alison’s dad, Rich.  His homemade peach ice cream post was very popular and looked amazing! Check out his latest recipe for homemade granola.

Begin by melting 5 tablespoons of Kelapo Coconut Oil.  Then add:

7 T maple syrup

2 T honey

2 T molasses

1 1/2 tsp cinnamon

1/4 tsp salt

Stir in 4 cups of rolled oats.

Spread on a large baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes at 375 degrees.

Remove from oven, and add nuts, 1/2 to 3/4 cup of pecans, walnuts, almonds, cashews.  After mixture has cooled, you may add things like raisins, dried cranberries, and dates.

Delicious plain, or with yogurt and fruit!

Thanks Rich!

I love coconut oil use from head to toe for good hair and skin care. It is best in winters for your dry skin. And cooking a nice aroma and flavor. And it is healthy too!!
