Peanut Butter Covered Pretzels

Happy Peanut Butter Lovers Month! I am definitely a peanut butter lover, so I celebrated by making these delicious pretzels. One of my favorite snacks is peanut butter filled pretzels, I even have a huge container of them in my desk at work. I wanted to make some at home since they can get pretty expensive at the store, but I knew there was no way that was happening. So I resorted to the next best thing, peanut butter covered pretzels! This recipe is super simple to make and tastes amazing. If I would have had some chocolate chips, I would have drizzled chocolate on top of the pretzels for a whole Reese’s peanut butter cup experience. Just writing about it is making me crave some.

Peanut Butter Covered Pretzels

8oz peanut butter chips

2 tablespoons Kelapo coconut oil

mini pretzels

 

Prepare a large baking sheet with wax paper and set aside.

Using a double boiler over medium heat, melt peanut butter chips and coconut oil together. Whisking constantly until completely melted and mixed together. Remove from heat.

Put a couple pretzels at a time in the melted peanut butter mixture, cover with peanut butter, and remove with fork. Place pretzel on prepared baking sheet. Do this until all of your pretzels are covered in peanut butter or the peanut butter is gone, whichever comes first. This would be the time to drizzle chocolate or decorate with whatever you wish to top the pretzels with. Put baking sheet in refrigerator for 30 minutes or until the peanut butter is no longer gooey, although the pretzels are pretty yummy when the peanut butter is still melted too. Enjoy!
