Homemade Holiday Gifts

Christmas is only 5 days away! Are you done shopping yet? If not, I have some great homemade gifts that are perfect for stocking stuffers or just small gifts for neighbors or friends. Plus, you probably already have a lot of the ingredients in your kitchen. What is you favorite homemade gift?

Easy, Homemade CandleWho doesn’t love lighting a candle during the holidays? It’s really the only time of year I burn candles. Not only does it help warm up the house, but it also gets you in the Christmas spirit and makes your house smell amazing! This is a recipe for a vanilla candle that is sure to get you in the mood for a little holiday baking.

Coconut Oil Lip BalmThis will make a great stocking stuffer. Making lip balm is one of the simplest things but with the addition of a nice looking tube or tub with a custom label, it becomes an extra special everyday staple that will live in someone’s purse or pocket all year through.

Homemade Dog TreatsThese make the perfect stocking stuffer for your four-legged friends! If you have a pet, you know that you spend so much extra money on food, treats, and toys especially around the holidays.  So why not make your dog homemade treats with ingredients that are already in your pantry.  I made them recently as a Christmas treat for our German Shepherd and he couldn’t get enough of them.  He would have eaten the whole bag all at once if we let him.

Red Velvet Cake PopsThese are the perfect treat for holiday parties or you can even wrap some up in a cellophane bag and give as gifts to your neighbors. They will appreciate something other than the usual Christmas cookies this year.

Dark Chocolate Peppermint PopcornThis is another great alternative to Christmas cookies. Plus, it is super easy to make. Whip up a big batch, bag it up in cute holiday bags, and hand it out to friends and loved ones as an extra special treat.

Enjoy!
