I have two little dogs I got from the SPCA and not only is it the holidays, it’s almost one of their birthdays. I know it sounds a little bit odd (at least for non-dog people), but I wanted to try and make something for the pups as a special treat. I figured with the holidays coming up this would be the perfect time for you to make a nice and easy treat for your favorite furry friend, too! To make these treats I did not want to have to go out to the store, get a bunch of ingredients and make this process any more complicated than it needed to be, so I just used some ingredients that anybody would be likely to have just laying around the house.
In a medium sized bowl mix Kelapo Coconut Oil, milk, honey, mashed bananas. Next, add in flour and oatmeal and mix until smooth. Pour batter on to baking sheet lightly greased with Kelapo Coconut Oil Non-Stick Cooking Spray. Use holiday themed cookie cutters to add some holiday flair to your treats and remove excess batter. Bake at 325° for 25 minutes.
These treats are delicious, trust me I tried them. You can too, just be sure to leave some left over for your pet!
