Coconut Oil Toothpaste

Even the smallest members of your family will love using this toothpaste!

There has been a lot of news the last couple weeks about coconut oil and tooth decay. There is possible thought floating around about adding coconut oil to toothpastes and mouthwashes! So being that I’m the “Susie Homemaker of Working Mommas,” I was so excited to make own Coconut Oil Toothpaste. Here’s what you will need :

2 tablespoons of Baking Soda

Coconut Oil Toothpaste

4 tablespoons of Kelapo Extra Virgin Coconut Oil

3-4 drops of any flavor extract

I used a berry extract in my toothpaste because I knew it was a flavor my son would love! Now, all you need to do is mix all of your ingredients together in a small bowl and you will have a wonderful smelling toothpaste that is natural!

To use this product all you have to do is dip your toothbrush in the consistency and then brush your teeth as you regularly would. It’s a fast, simple recipe that you can make at home with on hand ingredients. Be sure to watch my “How To: Coconut Oil Toothpaste” on making this wonderful product.
